To anyone who is listening and is not aware....

Today is my birthday.........................woo hooooooo! I am 20 something if I write the proper number it looks a lot, so I'm not gonna. I'm as old as my tongue and a little bit older than my teeth, as my good old gran says. I think I am old enough to start saying things like that on a regular basis.

So what have I planned for my birthday. Well this morning we are going food shopping... to buy me a black forest gateau......mmmmmmmm.... that or lemon merangue pie (which has to be made freshly otherwise it is no use at all, Sara Lee just won't do).

Then we have pretty much the entire house to tidy because a man is coming to measure for carpets.... the upstairs of our house is a shameful mess, except the little bedrooom which is only tidy becasue it has literally just been decorated, in fact it has not quite been finished. Then we await the arrival of said carpet man. When he leaves G and Jue are coming over for birthday tea, and I am allowed one glass of wine. I'm sure my doctor would not be apporving but I haven't had a drink for 3 months. I'm not a recovering alcoholic, well not really, I am on tablets that prohibit alcohol consumption...but one glass will make no odds. I guess.

Right I am off to open presents and cards. Mini wave for me...woo hoo!
